Penny's Place is one of the oldest family-owned businesses in Perth, and we proudly put our heart and soul into each day. Our customers, staff, and our passion for creating delicious, homemade food is what gets us out of bed every morning.

We make everything in house. We peel our potatoes for our famous home fries and hash browns; we make our own burgers; smoke our own meats, and create mouthwatering desserts - all from scratch.

About Me

That's me, Pennyann. Owner & Operator of Penny's Place. Initially my mom opened Penny's in 1994. I spent the majority of my younger years working at the restaurant. When I turned 18 I left for Toronto to attend George Brown College and graduated from Chef Training & Restaurant Management. After a few years away living my best younger life, my wife and I came back to settle in Ottawa so I could take over the restaurant like I always dreamed of! Now I'm here everyday working hard to serve nothing but the best food for you. I love the family I get to create with customers and followers of my journey. With out you I am nothing and everyday I am thankful to wake up and go to work and provide something that people genuinely want. Thank you to everyone who supports us.
